This position offers a remote/hybrid work arrangement, requiring candidates to be located within an hour's drive. The role involves 2-3 days of community engagement in clients' residences and 2-3 days of remote work utilizing a company-issued laptop.

Are you passionate about supporting children and their families? We are looking for compassionate, committed professionals who strive to empower youth and families by promoting lasting positive behavioral changes.

As part of our team, you will receive ongoing training in the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model while collaborating with families, youth, their communities, and other essential stakeholders to implement MST effectively. Extensive research supports the efficacy of MST. MST practitioners work closely with all involved parties to address the needs of young individuals facing delinquency challenges, which may include substance use issues in some cases. Your responsibilities will include empowering families to confront difficult behaviors and assisting adolescents aged 12–17 in achieving significant life improvements. Progress is made through intensive interventions such as skill development, altering unproductive family dynamics, and strengthening social support systems, among other strategies.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical services utilizing the MST model and principles, focusing on strengths and positive attributes, understanding behavioral patterns, and encouraging mature behaviors.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients and families, gathering insights on problematic behaviors and family strengths to inform problem conceptualization within the family context.
  • Engage effectively with a diverse range of clients.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of various family structures within the community.
  • Involve primary caregivers, family members, and community agency personnel consistently in treatment focused on change.
  • Dedicate time for weekly case planning and progress assessments, with continuous support from supervisors and team members.
  • Participate in regular training, professional development, supervision, and consultation activities to enhance clinical competencies within the MST framework.
  • Ensure 24/7 client support, collaborating with fellow clinicians as necessary.

Qualifications:

A master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits and potential multiple client transport.

Preferred Experience:

  • Practical application of family therapy techniques (e.g., structural, strategic, functional).
  • Use of cognitive-behavioral strategies in therapy with children and adults.
  • Experience in couples therapy employing behaviorally based approaches.
  • Implementation of interventions within or across systems in youths' natural settings (e.g., family, peer groups, school, neighborhood).
  • Collaboration with community organizations.
  • Prior experience providing in-home or community-based therapeutic services.

Licensure Requirements:

A Master's Degree in clinical or counseling psychology, social work, or a related field is essential.

Professional licensure in a relevant field is required (LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT, LCSW, LPC).

Annual Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
