We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Patient Service Representative to join our team at North Shore Physicians Group. As a key member of our community-based medical practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Schedule appointments and obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies as needed
- Check-in patients, answer their questions, and assist with pre-visit paperwork and forms
- Complete forms, collect co-payments, and schedule follow-up appointments, tests, and procedures during check-out
- Field incoming telephone calls, triage appropriately, and monitor patient flow and waiting room activity
- Provide general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers
We are looking for candidates who possess relevant skills, positive attitudes, innovative spirits, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years of experience working in a community-based medical practice
- Epic experience preferred
