Job Summary:

TalentBridge is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Sponsored Programs team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing groundbreaking research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Administration: Lead the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of various contracts, including cooperative agreements, subcontracts, and agreements with private, industry, and federal partners.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all contracts and agreements adhere to federal, governmental, funding agency, and institutional policies and regulations.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide expert support and guidance in the administration of contracts for both funded and unfunded externally sponsored projects, delivering exceptional service to stakeholders.
  • Process Optimization: Utilize and maintain systems and procedures for efficient contract processing, and independently manage the negotiation of contract terms and compliance requirements.
  • Database Management: Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database tracking the status of contracts, amendments, and other critical documents.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with university partners, including the Office of General Counsel, Risk Management, Applied Innovation, Research Compliance, Tax Office, and the Office of Privacy, Compliance, and Internal Audit, to ensure timely contract review and execution.
  • Issue Resolution: Consult with the Director of Contracts and Subawards to address and resolve any issues that may arise during the contract administration process.
