Supply Chain Inventory Specialist

A-Line Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Supply Chain Inventory Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to work with a prominent Fortune 500 organization, providing significant potential for career advancement. This is a full-time position requiring 40+ hours per week.
Compensation and Benefits
- The hourly wage for this role is $20.00.
- Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment.
- A 401(k) plan with company matching is available for full-time employees after one year of service.
Position Highlights
- This is a contract position with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on attendance, performance, and business requirements.
- Required working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cycle counts according to the established schedule to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Procurement, Warehouse, and Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate inventory management both physically and systematically.
- Analyze discrepancies using Parata ERP, Salesforce, and physical inventory locations.
- Adhere to all operational procedures to maintain consistency and control in work processes.
- Establish and uphold a comprehensive record-keeping system for discrepancies and issues identified during inventory reviews.
- Report on discrepancies and reconciliations effectively.
- Comply with safety, quality, and environmental control procedures to ensure personal and product safety.
- Support departmental and organizational initiatives.
- Assist in training new team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficient in performing various mathematical calculations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Forklift certification or experience is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Familiarity with ABC cycle counting methodology is a plus.
- Experience with RF Scanners and ERP systems is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Attendance is essential during the initial 90 days of employment.
