Business Development Representative

As a key member of the Buyers Edge Platform team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expansion in the convenience store retail segment. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with key stakeholders, and develop strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Search for and target Convenience Store operators with food service offerings
  • Build and develop relationships with key retail stakeholders, including manufacturers and channel partners
  • Seek out new partnerships in the space for lead generation
  • Present at various events, including food shows, to identify and seek prospective retail operators
  • Work hand in hand with sales teams at all levels to drive business growth and expansion

Requirements:

  • Experience in the foodservice industry within retail
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as needed
