Position Overview

The Manager of Clinical Quality Assurance plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the quality and risk management frameworks within the organization. Key responsibilities encompass planning and executing onsite quality assessments, pinpointing areas for process enhancement, facilitating the execution of improvement strategies, conducting thorough root cause analyses, preparing for evaluations, developing policies, and reviewing incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage quality improvement initiatives and risk management processes.
  • Conduct quality rounds and analyze findings to develop actionable improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with program administrators to communicate clinical findings effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Facilitate continuous readiness for external evaluations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master's degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of operation.
  • Two years of experience in behavioral health with a focus on quality assurance and risk management.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred:

  • Experience with CARF and Joint Commission accreditation processes.
  • Two years of experience in a quality management role within behavioral health.

Essential Functions

The Manager of Clinical Quality Assurance will:

  • Implement performance improvement methodologies and operationalize compliance processes.
  • Guide the organization through survey processes and findings.
  • Provide oversight of nursing clinical quality and compliance within the scope of practice.
  • Engage in the development and implementation of training related to quality assurance and risk management.
