The Mobility Programs Fleet Operations team is tasked with providing on-wing support and oversight for military aircraft fleets. As a member of this team, the Technical Field Service Specialist will deliver on-site technical support and guidance for military aircraft operations, collaborating closely with military personnel to address and resolve technical challenges that arise during daily operations. This role requires effective communication and organizational skills to ensure seamless coordination with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess maintenance and troubleshooting protocols, advising technical teams on the use of specialized tools, safety measures, and installation techniques to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with military and industry partners to optimize engine performance and minimize unscheduled maintenance, utilizing analytical skills to identify root causes and implement solutions. Contribute to performance assessments, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement in maintenance practices. Gather feedback on engine performance from maintenance teams and pilots, providing training and support for troubleshooting and operational assistance. Flexibility in work hours may be required to align with customer needs.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating comprehensive technical knowledge of engine systems and prior experience in a military or aviation context; or an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Proven experience in developing and nurturing customer relationships.

Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is mandatory. U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with large commercial engines or military aircraft. Previous experience as a Field Service Representative in a military setting. Familiarity with technical documentation and troubleshooting methodologies. Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Strong motivation for personal and professional development. Onsite roles require primarily on-location work, essential for the development and maintenance of our engines. The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
