Technical Support and Configuration Specialist

A company specializing in Real Estate Property Management is in search of a Technical Support and Configuration Specialist to aid in delivering residential property security and management solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist in troubleshooting internet connectivity issues by liaising with the Internet Service Provider.
  • Set up and evaluate configurations of surveillance and access control systems.
  • Offer assistance to field staff for the installation and configuration of cameras, servers, and networks, including remote support.
  • Configure routers for Static IP addresses and facilitate port forwarding.
  • Establish and modify TCP/IP configurations.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to cameras and access systems, gradually enhancing technical knowledge.
  • Provide technical training to virtual security personnel and monitoring response teams.
  • Document all operational standards and procedures meticulously.
  • Oversee key fob access permissions and manage facial recognition registrations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with surveillance, access control, and intercom systems (such as Hikvision, Vivotek, Axis, Ocularis, S2, Honeywell, Airphone) is advantageous, though not essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications.
  • Collaborative team player capable of thriving in a supportive work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
