The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for enhancing the occupancy rates and revenue generation of our community in alignment with our marketing strategies and business objectives. This role involves managing the sales process and executing all necessary activities to secure sales. The Director will also represent our community and boost visibility through engagement in external events, while assisting management in resident retention efforts. Additionally, the Director will develop and implement marketing strategies to meet occupancy targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Enhance and maintain community occupancy levels in line with established marketing and business strategies. Utilize defined sales processes and systems to track performance and achieve occupancy goals.
  2. Promote community services and programs to potential residents and their families, tailoring marketing approaches to meet their specific needs.
  3. Oversee all activities necessary for securing sales and converting deposits into resident move-ins. Conduct assessments and presentations as needed, ensuring all documentation is completed prior to residency.
  4. Keep management informed about the status of prospective residents and maintain clear communication regarding pre-residency processes.
  5. Engage with local professionals, organizations, and community contacts to enhance business development efforts.
  6. Build and nurture relationships with residents, families, and referral sources to generate leads and provide information about community offerings.
  7. Manage community resources effectively and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement.
  8. Increase community visibility through participation in external events and professional groups, planning activities that align with management goals.
  9. Support resident retention through welcome initiatives, referral programs, and community outreach.
  10. Develop and execute marketing strategies to achieve occupancy objectives, including creating promotional materials.
  11. Monitor sales performance metrics and provide insights to management for ongoing marketing and retention strategies.
  12. Utilize lead management systems to optimize sales effectiveness and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in outside sales.
  • Experience in service-oriented industries is preferred, with a background in hospitality or healthcare being advantageous.
  • Ability to travel locally for networking and community engagement.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player who embraces challenges and motivates others.
