Lead Site Coordinator

At YWCA Princeton, we prioritize fostering an inclusive atmosphere where every individual feels valued and respected for their contributions.
We are currently seeking a Lead Site Coordinator to oversee our After School Program, as well as our Winter, Spring Break, and Summer Enrichment initiatives. This role involves collaborating closely with the COO & Co-Director of Childcare to ensure the effective administration and support of these programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
- Designing comprehensive lesson plans for daily activities.
- Creating and submitting a monthly activity calendar to the After School Program Coordinator.
- Delegating tasks to assistants and volunteers as necessary.
- Facilitating activities and clubs in partnership with Assistant Teachers.
- Recommending necessary materials and maintaining inventory at the site.
- Keeping staff informed about program-related matters through regular meetings.
Record Keeping:
- Maintaining accurate daily attendance records for students.
- Planning and tracking weekly snack menus.
- Submitting a monthly activity report to the After School Program Co-Director.
- Completing incident reports promptly and filing them with the After School Program Director.
- Reviewing and verifying staff time sheets for accuracy and submitting them on schedule.
Creating a Professional Environment:
- Establishing a structured and nurturing environment that promotes respectful relationships among educators, children, and parents.
- Addressing the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical needs of children appropriately.
- Encouraging teamwork and creativity among staff members.
- Implementing discipline in line with YWCA After School Program policies.
- Communicating relevant information to teachers and parents regarding upcoming events.
Additional Duties:
- Maintaining a display board with essential program materials and licensing information.
- Participating in parent meetings and staff orientations at the start of the school year.
- Attending monthly meetings designated for Head Site Supervisors.
- Engaging in required training workshops for the After School Program.
- Conducting staff meetings and relaying information from monthly meetings with the ASP Coordinator.
- Evaluating the performance of Assistant Teachers and providing feedback to the ASP Coordinator.
- Carrying out other responsibilities as assigned by the ASP Coordinator.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position with the following hours:
- Regular School Week: 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday
- Early Dismissal Days: 12:30 PM - 6:00 PM
- School Vacations/Full Days: 7:15 AM - 6:00 PM
- Preparation and Planning: 2.5 hours per week
The Head Site Coordinator is expected to arrive prior to student arrival to prepare the environment and materials.
Note: Personal vacations should not coincide with school breaks when the After School Program is operational.
