Helpdesk Specialist

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Journeyman to join our team. As a Helpdesk Journeyman, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prioritize systems tickets daily to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements.
- Manage incident tickets and provide regular status updates to customers.
- Collect and analyze information to identify root causes of issues and make recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
- Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of IT experience, with 2+ years in a helpdesk or service desk role.
- Active Top Secret Clearance and IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA A+CE, Security+CE, or Network+CE).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with helpdesk call tracking management systems (e.g. Remedy) and IT Service Management (BMC ITSM).
