Job Summary

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Helpdesk Journeyman to join our team. As a Helpdesk Journeyman, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and prioritize systems tickets daily to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements.
  • Manage incident tickets and provide regular status updates to customers.
  • Collect and analyze information to identify root causes of issues and make recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
  • Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of IT experience, with 2+ years in a helpdesk or service desk role.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance and IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA A+CE, Security+CE, or Network+CE).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with helpdesk call tracking management systems (e.g. Remedy) and IT Service Management (BMC ITSM).
