Job Summary:


In the capacity of Engine Shop Lead, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage engine testing operations, ensuring they are conducted efficiently, safely, and effectively.

Your duties will include coordinating testing schedules, leading a skilled team of technicians, analyzing test results, and ensuring the upkeep of testing equipment.

Responsibilities:
Oversee engine testing processes from initiation to conclusion, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety standards.
Manage testing schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines.
Provide mentorship, training, and assistance to a team of technicians.
Evaluate test data and compile reports for engineering teams and management.
Resolve technical challenges during testing and implement necessary corrective measures.
Ensure accurate calibration and maintenance of testing apparatus.
Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance and refine testing methodologies.
Maintain comprehensive documentation related to testing activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in engine testing or a related discipline.
Technical expertise in engine systems and testing practices.
Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams of technicians.
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
Proficient in data analysis and report generation.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Professional certification in engine testing or a related field.
Experience with engine test cell operations and instrumentation.
Knowledge of industry-standard testing software and tools.
