Your Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming calls and emails from customers and sales representatives, promptly assessing customer needs and proactively offering solutions.
  • Keep customers updated on their order status, resolve discrepancies efficiently, and address post-order issues such as returns, ensuring all customer needs are met.
  • Encourage repeat business by delivering excellent service, providing accurate product and service knowledge, and building strong relationships with customers.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and manufacturers, as well as between customers and freight carriers when necessary.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of PING products, services, and production processes.
  • Take full ownership of customer service requests, including coordinating with other departments to ensure timely resolution of inquiries.
  • Authorize returns and repairs for consideration without charge.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Department to submit credit/debit requests and correct billing/shipment issues as needed.
  • Work with the Customer Service Analyst Team to ensure the accuracy of automated orders.
  • Understand the company credit process to effectively research and respond to inquiries regarding account balances and shipment issues.

Your Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED with a minimum of one year of relevant Customer Service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Customer Service Repair experience is preferred. Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with PING's mainframe application, are required.

Demonstrated ability to consistently provide outstanding customer service, fulfill responsibilities to customers, and recover from any errors made.

Ability to manage projects and assignments accurately, identifying errors before completion, even in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.

Effective communication skills with customers, including listening, speaking, and writing. Ability to adjust communication style to meet the needs and expectations of the audience.

Strong organizational skills to prioritize, plan, and coordinate work activities, ensuring timely accomplishment of objectives.

Broad knowledge of PING product offerings and a commitment to continuous learning focused on business, customer service techniques, and PING products.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
