Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Service Representative to join our team at Jewish Family & Children's Service. As a Client Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for clients and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating services, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Intake and Coordination: Inquire about clients' health and wellness needs, coordinate primary care services, and ensure seamless communication with JFCS staff and external parties.
  • Scheduling and Verification: Schedule client appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and obtain required authorizations.
  • Record Keeping and Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, scan and import case material, and input client information into the computer billing system.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Establish strong relationships with referral sources, case managers, and clinical staff, and assist with interpreter services as needed.
  • Administrative Tasks: Update client files, monitor services provided, and communicate funding-source changes to the Operations Coordinator.
  • Customer Service: Answer and coordinate incoming calls, create and maintain client electronic charts, and schedule initial assessments as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent accredited GED.
  • Experience: Previous work experience in a position requiring significant public contact, preferably in a medical office, with computer use, office organization skills, and ability to type 45 wpm.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual Spanish-English preferred.
  • Attendance: Exceptional attendance is mandatory in this position, as continuous front desk and phone coverage is critical to daily operations.
