About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team at Ultimate Care NY, a leading provider of home health care services.

As the Home Care HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing HR processes, managing recruitment initiatives, and handling employee relations. You will be the point of contact for staff members, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience in a home care HR coordination role, preferably in home care or healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter all HHA/PCA/CDPA applicants into HHAeXchange when they apply.
  • Verification of HHA/PCA certificates.
  • Obtain and verify references for HHA/PCA's prior to orientation.
  • Run background checks in CHRC for all applicants invited to orientation.
  • Conduct orientation to onboard HHA/PCA's and update Home Care Registry and E-Verify.
  • Schedule newly oriented employees for DOH fingerprinting.
  • Communication with clinical department for scheduling of HHA supervisions & evaluations.
  • Maintains field employee's compliance records set forth by DOH, HIPAA and JCAHO, following compliance rules and assisting with scheduling of medical appointments resulting in a higher retention rate.
