About Us:

CUMULUS MEDIA operates multiple radio stations, offering a diverse range of programming and advertising solutions.

The Account Executive is responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, enhancing existing client partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions that align with client objectives. This role involves closing deals and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify client needs by thoroughly understanding their goals, objectives, and market trends to create customized advertising solutions.
  • Deliver impactful multi-platform sales presentations, encompassing broadcast, digital, and event opportunities; engage in negotiation and closing.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our digital assets and audience extension products to provide a complete marketing solution.
  • Proactively seek new clients through networking, cold calling, and referrals to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Adhere to corporate procedures for order preparation, billing resolution, and regular reporting on sales activities and competitive analysis.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to effectively position our offerings in the marketplace.
  • Generate innovative ideas and creative solutions for clients.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience in developing new business relationships in an external sales capacity.
  • Strong presentation skills to showcase sales opportunities and successes.
  • Understanding of lead generation and the ability to connect with potential clients.
  • Familiarity with sales metrics to maintain a healthy sales funnel.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to step outside comfort zones for professional growth.
  • High energy and passion for sales.
  • Flexibility and creativity in approach.
  • Digitally savvy.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
