Position: Inside Sales Consultant (Entry Level)

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 Annually plus comprehensive benefits

The Inside Sales Consultant is integral to enhancing the company's revenue within the logistics sector. This role primarily focuses on expanding and nurturing new business opportunities, pinpointing and engaging potential clients, fostering robust relationships with both existing and prospective customers, and delivering essential service insights. By comprehending client requirements, the Inside Sales Consultant can adeptly propose the most fitting solutions. Responsibilities include generating sales leads, responding to inquiries, and preparing quotations.

This position offers mentorship, training, and opportunities for advancement into management roles. We seek a proactive individual with a strong drive to succeed and grow alongside the company.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identifying and engaging potential clients within the logistics sector
  • Developing and sustaining strong relationships with both existing and new customers
  • Providing customers with valuable service insights
  • Generating sales leads and managing follow-ups on inquiries
  • Preparing and delivering sales proposals and quotes
  • Collaborating with the external sales team to achieve sales objectives
  • Staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities
  • Maintaining precise sales records and CRM systems
  • Working with clients and Sales Service Team Members to address billing and invoicing concerns
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving any client issues or complaints
  • Participating in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry conferences
  • Contributing to the formulation of sales strategies and marketing initiatives
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, marketing, sales, or a related discipline is preferred
Skills
  • 1 year of prior experience in inside sales, marketing, or customer service is preferred
  • Experience in the logistics or freight sector is highly desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with clients
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment
  • A strong, team-oriented work ethic with a focus on safety and compliance
