Position Title: Customer Service Representative - Claims

Role Overview: As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing incoming and outgoing communications with policyholders and funeral homes, while also handling data entry for new life insurance claims. This is an entry-level role with a standard Monday to Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls from policyholders, beneficiaries, and funeral homes.
  • Review contracts for any financial discrepancies.
  • Process life insurance claims efficiently.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service via phone and email.
  • Assist with special projects as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Quick learner of new processes and procedures.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Availability for a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds when necessary.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
