About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our Field Sales organization. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for driving new customer growth and revenue through strategic account planning, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territories.

As a sales professional, you will work closely with our customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver long-lasting value. Your goal will be to ensure that our customers are positively satisfied from day one and forever ongoing.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory
  • Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects and shares Workday value propositions
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data

About You

We are looking for a sales professional with a proven track record in a high-velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities. You should have experience negotiating deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities and a strong understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry.

You will be an excellent verbal and written communicator, with the ability to effectively position Workday solutions within accounts. Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies is also essential.

What We Offer

As a part of our comprehensive benefits package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors, including geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need.
