Job Overview: As a vital member of our team, the Pool Server is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at the pool area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Adhere to the assigned work schedule and communicate any scheduling needs to management promptly.
  2. Arrive at work in a clean, professional uniform, ensuring a polished appearance.
  3. Proactively greet guests with warmth and friendliness, setting a positive tone for their experience.
  4. Possess comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings to provide informed recommendations.
  5. Encourage guests to explore premium options and enhancements to elevate their experience.
  6. Complete all required training to maximize product knowledge and service skills.
  7. Ensure timely and accurate entry of orders into the point-of-sale system.
  8. Process payments efficiently, ensuring all necessary signatures are captured.
  9. Deliver food and beverage orders promptly and accurately, meeting guest expectations.
  10. Provide all necessary condiments, utensils, and garnishes as requested by guests.
  11. Follow all safety and sanitation protocols when handling food and beverages.
  12. Prepare beverages according to established recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
  13. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout the shift.
  14. Complete assigned cleaning and stocking tasks thoroughly.
  15. Stay informed about all resort offerings, including services and operational hours.
  16. Deliver exceptional service that aligns with our brand standards and values.
  17. Foster effective communication with team members across departments.
  18. Engage in additional training as necessary to enhance skills.
  19. Assist in various functions within the Recreational Center Snack Bar as needed.
  20. Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality in the kitchen and Snack Bar.
  21. Notify management of product needs and ensure proper rotation of inventory.
  22. Prepare and label all food items accurately, ensuring freshness and quality.
  23. Stay updated on current promotions and specials.
  24. Ensure cleanliness of all used trays and utensils.
  25. Keep the Snack Bar supervisor informed of any significant issues.
  26. Compile cash reports at the end of each shift.
  27. Understand the functions of various departments within the resort.
  28. Provide accurate information regarding department locations and services.
  29. Be flexible with scheduling, including availability for weekends and holidays.
  30. Uphold our service standards and create a welcoming environment for all guests.
  31. Embrace and promote wellness and our core values through every interaction.
  32. Empower yourself to resolve issues effectively when they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Basic math skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of food presentation and handling.
  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in the food service industry.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
