Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team at Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp. in a seasonal, full/part-time capacity. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare banquet rooms and set up for service, including stocking and setting tables
  • Serve tables and maintain buffets, restocking as needed
  • Assist in daily operations, including serving, cleaning, and bussing
  • Ensure compliance with State Liquor Regulations and maintain TIPS certification
  • Alert management to inventory shortages and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Bus tables and reset throughout the shift, as necessary
Requirements
  • Prior banquet/serving experience and knowledge of banquets preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and public relations
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, push carts loaded with up to 200 lbs, and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to communicate in English
