Position Overview

Garden of the Gods Resort and Club is seeking a skilled Echo Imaging Specialist to enhance our dynamic clinical services team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting on-site transthoracic echocardiograms, working collaboratively with our healthcare partners to deliver exceptional patient care. Our organization prides itself on an integrated wellness approach, providing a unique experience for our patients. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join us for approximately one day each week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administering direct patient care through advanced ultrasound techniques.
  • Fostering a collaborative environment to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
  • Reviewing patient histories, managing appointment schedules, and educating patients about procedures.
  • Monitoring patient conditions, optimizing imaging parameters for best results, and administering contrast media/medications as necessary.
  • Maintaining safety protocols, performing equipment quality control, troubleshooting technical issues, and executing imaging procedures with accuracy.
  • Enhancing professional skills through mentorship and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensuring safety and quality throughout the patient care process.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program.
  • Required certifications include:
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - Adult (AE) from ARDMS or equivalent.
  • Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS or equivalent.
  • Advanced certifications are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must hold a valid sonographer registration.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
  • Certification must be valid prior to the start date and remain active for at least sixty days post-hire.
