Position Overview

Salary:

As we broaden our portfolio and market presence, we are in search of a skilled Financial Executive Officer (CFO) to spearhead our financial initiatives.

The CFO will be instrumental in directing the financial trajectory of HJH Investments. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will oversee all facets of the organization’s financial operations, primarily concentrating on bolstering our commercial property acquisitions and investment ventures. The ideal candidate will have a robust financial background, substantial experience in the commercial property sector, and outstanding leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Oversight: Offer strategic guidance and leadership in all financial affairs, including acquisitions, capital sourcing, and financial forecasting.
  • Acquisition Oversight: Direct the financial assessment, structuring, and execution of property acquisitions and sales.
  • Capital Sourcing: Formulate and execute strategies to secure capital from diverse sources, including equity investors, debt financing, and institutional partners.
  • Investor Engagement: Build and sustain robust relationships with investors, stakeholders, and financial institutions.
  • Financial Reporting: Supervise the preparation and presentation of precise and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts to align with business objectives.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks to ensure the stability and growth of the organization.
  • Team Development: Manage and nurture the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of senior financial management experience in commercial real estate, with a proven record in acquisition and capital sourcing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of real estate finance, capital markets, and investment strategies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and manage a high-performing finance or transaction team.
  • Relevant financial certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are advantageous.
