About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Equity Bank. As a key member of our financial team, you will play a critical role in helping us build and expand on client relationships, deliver banking products and services that meet the unique needs of clients, and create an atmosphere of superior experience and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage reporting-related projects, including producing the Bank's Watch/Classified list, monitoring loan concentrations, performing portfolio stress analysis, and preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Work on large data/analytics projects, identifying and analyzing trends or patterns in complex data sets, and providing answers to business questions.
  • Partner with leadership to develop expectations and assess credit administration data.
  • Lead efforts to improve the structure of analytical tools, data, and processes.
  • Assist with developing recommendations for Executive Leadership Team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 2+ years business experience with a strong focus in business analysis, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a track record of delivering results.
  • Demonstration of strong written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, persistence, and ability to foster productive working relationships.
  • Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple changing priorities and assignments/projects and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including logical and reference formulas, financial functions, correlation through pivots and logic, and formatting for presentations.
  • Advanced MS PowerPoint skills.
