Overview:
The Financial Aid Office Student Assistant will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors entering the Financial Aid Office. The position is available during standard office hours, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be eligible for Work-study.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the front desk operations
- Responding to phone inquiries
- Organizing and maintaining files
- Digitizing documents through scanning
- Disposing of sensitive materials securely
Qualifications:
- Must be a current full-time student at Newman University (enrolled in at least 12 credit hours).
- Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Capability to stand for extended periods while organizing and filing documents.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Self-motivated individual who can operate with minimal supervision.
