Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads to provide accurate and timely financial forecasts to guide executive decision-making.
  • Cash Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity for operational needs and implement effective cash management strategies to support business objectives.
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance, to ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit and Compliance: Oversee audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to mitigate financial risks and safeguard company assets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Previous experience in real estate, private equity, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate financial principles, regulations, and practices preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using accounting software, financial software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Experience with real estate management software is a plus (AppFolio, Yardi, etc.).
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
