Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a skilled Senior Analyst in Investment Operations to join our Fixed Income Operations team. This position offers flexibility in work arrangements, including on-site, hybrid, or fully remote options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with broker-dealers, custodians, legal teams, and internal departments to ensure timely settlement of transactions.
  • Lead onboarding processes for new third-party partnerships and manage asset transition initiatives.
  • Oversee investment-related funding activities, such as capital calls.
  • Exhibit expertise across various asset classes, including Private Placements, Bank Loans, and Asset-Backed Securities.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of income, positions, and Security Master data.
  • Engage directly with front office teams to address issues and inquiries effectively.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with teams to support strategic objectives.
  • Ensure accurate onboarding of new investments into internal systems, tracking relevant terms diligently.
  • Work closely with Accounting, Compliance, and Audit teams to uphold established controls and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in fixed income within investment operations or middle office roles in asset management, hedge funds, or investment banking.
  • A degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of investment operations, including relevant regulations and technologies, as well as trading workflows.
  • Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to comprehend abstract concepts and identify patterns.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Familiarity with standard legal documentation related to Private Placement and Bank Loan settlements.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Proficient in systems such as Bloomberg, Excel, Business Objects, Power BI, ePAM, and MS Office Suite.
  • Technical literacy to effectively communicate with IT support and development teams.
  • Professional networking and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external counsel and senior investment professionals to resolve complex issues.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in executing responsibilities while adhering to documented processes and exhibiting attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Research and problem-solving skills, including familiarity with legal documents related to securities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Private Placement or Bank Loan settlement and reconciliation, with expertise in ePAM, Business Objects, and Power BI.
