This department focuses on three essential functions: Billing, Reporting, and Cash Applications, managing the invoicing and collection of investment management fees across various entities.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Calculate and generate specialized investment management fee invoices based on legal agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established KPIs.
  • Provide precise monthly revenue calculations for accounting purposes, delivering comprehensive variance analyses on accruals.
  • Review and approve investment management fee accruals and invoices.
  • Analyze internal management reports for accuracy, conducting thorough assessments on discrepancies.
  • Address client inquiries with urgency and precision.
  • Mitigate financial risks by reviewing fee drafts and leading discussions on billing uncertainties.
  • Train and guide team members on the incentive revenue process.
  • Act as a point of escalation for Billing Analysts to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of operational processes to ensure high-quality work.
  • Resolve issues promptly with minimal supervision.
  • Enhance the efficiency of the billing process through automation and workflow improvements.
  • Collaborate with global teams in Legal, Account Management, and Finance to address billing issues effectively.
  • Independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Identify and address potential risks proactively.
Position Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or operations.
  • Strong accounting fundamentals with knowledge of financial investment principles. Experience in incentive fee calculations or quantitative analysis is preferred.
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skills, with the ability to problem-solve independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, engaging effectively with all organizational levels.
  • A strong sense of accountability and integrity, with a commitment to sharing best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Audit or Investment Management.
