Position: Regional Sales Executive (Remote, Texas)
Role Overview:
The Regional Sales Executive (RSE) serves as the primary liaison for jobbers and technicians, while also engaging with warehouse distributors and retailers within their designated territory. This position requires a strategic location within an area that typically encompasses multiple cities or states. The role demands a proactive approach, often necessitating travel beyond the assigned territory based on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance sales, profitability, and visibility of Dorman Products through effective distribution strategies, aligning with the area business objectives.
- Promote brand and product recognition across all distribution channels.
- Facilitate trade show participation, provide training for customer sales representatives, and conduct visits to jobbers and technicians.
- Collaborate with clients to optimize inventory management, communicate promotional offers, address complaints, and identify new product opportunities.
- Expand the distribution of marketing materials and enroll new product announcements.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated individual who excels in a remote work environment.
- Associate degree or higher in business, automotive technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions: The role involves regular activities such as reaching, carrying items between locations, and effective communication. The noise level is typically moderate.
