About The Role

The position of a Wren Academy Trainer is both exhilarating and crucial for the successful onboarding of retail personnel. With a variety of training methods available and a team of specialists to foster creativity, this role presents a rewarding opportunity.

This position is based in our training academy, with occasional travel to various locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an exceptional induction and onboarding experience for all retail staff, enhancing engagement within the organization.
  • Become an authority on the Wren customer journey, our products, and cutting-edge technology.
  • Assist retail teams in acquiring expert product knowledge to ensure consistent delivery of outstanding customer service.
  • Support, mentor, and coach new retail employees through engaging training content utilizing blended learning techniques.
  • Act as a representative of Wren's culture, exemplifying the Company's core values and mindset.
  • Assess and refine training programs to enhance outcomes and performance.
  • Engage stakeholders to prioritize training within business objectives and strategies.
  • Oversee the identification, design, delivery, and comprehensive administration of training initiatives.

Main Duties:

  • Manage the onboarding process for retail employees during their initial 12 weeks.
  • Conduct Wren's comprehensive 5-day Induction program for all new retail hires.
  • Evaluate training outcomes to ensure participants meet established benchmarks.
  • Provide ongoing training throughout the 12-week program via webinars, coaching sessions, and mentorship.
  • Perform training needs assessments for new hires to identify key development areas.
  • Assist in the creation of relevant and up-to-date e-learning content.
  • Ensure all induction materials and training records are accurate and current.
  • Design and deliver training content that can be effectively shared with all retail staff.
  • Provide timely feedback, both verbal and written, to the line managers of training participants.
  • Maintain the Academy environment to ensure it is conducive to learning.
  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned by your Manager.
