Position Title: Retail Customer Service Representative

Role Summary

The Retail Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional service to customers. This role involves selling products available at the fuel station while adhering to company standards for merchandise presentation, safety, sanitation, and suggestive selling techniques. The representative will assist customers by processing sales transactions and managing fuel pump operations to ensure efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by demonstrating care, concern, and patience in all interactions.
  • Handle all sales transactions accurately, including receiving payments and maintaining accountability for cash, coupons, checks, and receipts.
  • Receive and verify delivered merchandise, ensuring proper placement in designated storage areas.
  • Restock displays and shelves as necessary to maintain product availability.
  • Maintain cleanliness and supply levels in public restrooms, including refilling towel and soap dispensers.
  • Perform cleaning duties such as washing windows, emptying trash, and maintaining a tidy environment.
  • Adhere to all relevant Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Be flexible in performing other job-related tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be prepared to work independently, as solo shifts may occur.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Gas Station Attendant is advantageous; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Capability to follow instructions and adhere to company procedures.
  • Proficiency in using a cash register and basic math skills for transactions.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Travel Requirements: Minimal, 0 – 10%

Additional Considerations:

Must be prepared to work in varying weather conditions.
