Position Summary:
The Receivables Operations Supervisor will be instrumental within the Finance Department, reporting directly to the Head of Operational Finance. This role focuses on enhancing processes within the Accounts Receivable and Order to Cash (OTC) teams. The primary function is to oversee the daily activities of the Accounts Receivable unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Application Management: Supervise daily cash application processes, streamline operations, and ensure accurate posting of all receipts while enhancing internal controls and providing real-time visibility into client accounts.
  • Collections Oversight: Collaborate with Project Accounting and Billing teams to ensure the accuracy of invoices, improve collection efforts, manage credit insurance programs, and facilitate proper client onboarding.
  • Month-End Closing: Ensure compliance with internal controls, report accurate client aging balances, and review balance sheet reconciliations during month-end close processes.
  • Support for Accounting Operations: Foster communication and standardization between accounting operations and client teams to enhance efficiency.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor the Accounts Receivable team, balancing individual contributions with team objectives.
  • Client Team Coordination: Work closely with management to deliver exceptional customer service and improve operational efficiency and visibility among partners.
  • ERP System Expertise: Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Accounts Receivable and Credit and Collections modules, driving system improvements and efficiencies.
  • Additional Duties: Manage ad hoc projects and requests as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Accounting or Finance sector, including over 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Experience with month-end closing processes.
  • Strong change management capabilities.
  • Proven track record in process improvement and workflow optimization.
  • Familiarity with complex, integrated accounting systems.
  • Ability to resolve intricate operational and accounting challenges.
  • Proficient in system platform functionalities.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this role is $68,000 to $110,000, with actual compensation based on various factors including relevant experience and skills. A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid time off, is also available.
