The Event Operations Supervisor is responsible for the setup, maintenance, cleanliness, and refreshment of all meeting and special event spaces. This role involves overseeing the setup and operations team, ensuring that all areas are organized and that inventory reports for event equipment and supplies are accurately maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
The Event Operations Supervisor will:
• Prepare meeting rooms and private event areas with the necessary equipment and materials, including tables, chairs, linens, and staging.
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail when setting up spaces according to established standards and layouts.
• Demonstrate knowledge of event configurations and equipment usage.
• Dismantle meeting spaces, returning them to their original state as per specifications outlined in event orders.
• Inspect event equipment for cleanliness and maintenance needs.
• Regularly clean meeting and event spaces, including changing soiled linens and organizing furniture.
• Adhere to safety guidelines during the movement and storage of equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in service corridors, pre-function areas, and storage spaces.
• Generate and maintain monthly inventory reports for all event equipment and supplies.
• Participate as a team member during special events, assisting with food delivery, service refreshment, and beverage distribution.
• Support event operations as needed, collaborating with staff to ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Organize and maintain storage areas for event supplies.
• Supervise, train, and motivate the event operations staff.
• Work in various settings, both indoors and outdoors, adapting to changing conditions and noise levels.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of two years of experience in event setup within a high-volume environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, stretching, and pushing.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capacity to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and adapt to last-minute changes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with a willingness to learn new systems.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Follow and promote safety policies and procedures, reporting any unsafe conditions and completing necessary training.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
