The Logistics Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of designated Drivers.
Benefits:
Compensation:
$65,000 to $75,000, depending on experience.
Work Schedule:
Evening and overnight shifts. Day 1 benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA options, and company-paid life insurance. 401(k) plan with annual company matching.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure safe, timely, and precise deliveries to clients by utilizing a comprehensive understanding of multi-stop routing systems and dispatch protocols. Monitor driver logs, hours of service, and other DOT requirements to guarantee adherence to all state, local, and federal regulations.
Collaborate with other departments within the distribution center to facilitate accurate and timely deliveries.
This role may involve additional responsibilities.
Special projects may be assigned at the discretion of the position supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in transportation management within the food distribution sector is necessary.
Familiarity with DOT regulations is essential. Experience with JDE, PeopleNet, TMS, and Lytx DriveCam is preferred.
Proficiency in truck routing software is advantageous.
Ability to work a flexible schedule is required.
Basic competency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) is expected.
