Sales Leadership Role

The Regional Sales Director will lead the sales organization in the SE Asia & Australasia Region, providing guidance and coaching to achieve sales-related KPIs. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mining and construction industries, as well as with GET.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the field sales organization and sales volume for the region, ensuring budgeted sales volumes are met.
  • Submit recommendations to corporate management on sales organization, product lines, distribution channels, pricing, and sales objectives.
  • Establish and execute sales programs and objectives for each territory within the region.
  • Assist Regional Sales Managers with sales distribution issues and product managers with customer coordination and new product development.
  • Inform top management of significant sales developments and make recommendations for new products or improvements.
  • Develop effective communication between Regional Sales Managers and provide coaching and training on sales and services.
  • Travel with Regional Sales Managers to call on customers and plan sales meetings to educate and motivate the sales organization.
  • Establish and approve travel expenses for Regional Sales Managers and coordinate sales conventions and trade shows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or trade qualification with postgraduate elements.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in industry sales and 5 years' management experience.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills, with strong user proficiency in MS Office programs.
  • Excellent presentation development and delivery skills.
