Job Summary

As a Director, Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and driving the development of energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and Negotiate Deals: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, commercial and industrial customers, and investors.
  • Drive Project Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business strategies, drive project development, and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Market and Promote Services: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote Tenaska's services and projects to various customer classes and markets.
  • Manage Commercial Efforts: Lead commercial efforts for multi-GW portfolios, coordinate and prioritize project development activities, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of energy project origination experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
