Security Bank & Trust is seeking a Security Program Manager to lead and manage initiatives that encompass both the Security division and the wider organization.

In this position, you will be accountable for the strategic direction, planning, and implementation of technical programs that empower our Security team to safeguard our most critical assets and maintain the trust of our clients.

We are a compact team of versatile professionals who adapt quickly and deliver value efficiently. We excel at maintaining a comprehensive perspective on our tasks while also diving into the specifics when necessary. We comprehend business objectives, translate and structure them into technical programs and projects, and drive their execution. We are adept at engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You will have the chance to spearhead a diverse range of Security-related projects while contributing to the growth of our Technical Program Management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the execution of multiple concurrent, cross-functional projects and/or programs.
Facilitate and manage strategic planning sessions and cross-functional prioritization.
Conduct program status reviews and prepare regular communications for stakeholders and executives.

Effectively establish timelines and guide cross-functional project teams to meet deadlines by proactively managing obstacles, scope changes, shifting priorities, and risks.

Collaborate with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders across Security Bank & Trust.
Partner with Engineering Managers and other Technical Program Managers to enhance operational efficiency within teams.
Effectively navigate change, adapt to shifting circumstances, make decisions and take action without having complete information, and manage risk and uncertainty.

You may be a suitable candidate if you:
Have experience managing cross-functional projects, developing long-term programs, and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Possess experience executing technical programs that necessitate systems and engineering-level knowledge.
Have a strong interest in or a willingness to learn about cybersecurity or regulatory compliance.
Have experience reporting on complex programs through data-driven metrics, including writing SQL queries.

Exhibit strong interpersonal skills that enable you to influence without authority, build cross-organizational support, and foster cooperation around security initiatives, policies, and procedures.

Have a proven track record of successfully organizing, implementing, and managing complex programs and projects.
Are accustomed to navigating trade-offs, balancing competing priorities, and adapting your perspective.

Preferred Qualifications:
Have prior experience as an engineer or in a similar technical role.
Possess 8 or more years of experience in Technical Program Management or a related technical role.
Have experience establishing a centralized Project Management Office (PMO).

Representative Projects:
Contributing to initiatives related to the Security Commitments outlined in our Responsible Scaling Policy.
Collaborating with the Developer Productivity team to enhance Remote Development workflows.
Working with cross-functional stakeholders to develop a Third Party Risk Management program.
Leading efforts related to Two Party Controls, Production Access Reduction, and Binary Allowlisting.
Assisting in the establishment of our Security Operations Center (SOC).
Driving initiatives around risk management, product security, and other areas that enhance the security of Security Bank & Trust.
