Global Security Operations Center Manager

Position Overview: Security Bank & Trust Co. is in search of a seasoned Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) & Travel Security Program Manager to spearhead the establishment and administration of our GSOC, alongside the execution and oversight of our travel safety initiatives. This pivotal role is essential for safeguarding the bank's assets, facilities, and personnel across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage continuous global surveillance for security threats and incidents affecting the bank's facilities and personnel.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and technical specifications for security measures such as intrusion detection, access controls, and surveillance systems to enhance GSOC operations.
- Recruit, train, and lead a team of operators responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and coordinating incident response in accordance with established security protocols.
- Design and manage quality assurance programs aimed at improving GSOC response capabilities.
- Generate and automate regular analytics and reporting on global security incidents, trends, and their impact on business operations.
- Coordinate incident response efforts, engaging both internal security teams and external emergency service providers as necessary.
- Establish guidelines for employees traveling under varying security conditions, including personnel tracking and emergency preparedness.
- Create and implement mandatory pre-travel security briefings tailored to specific risk assessments.
- Monitor global events and advisories during employee travel to identify emerging needs for support and coordinate assistance in line with duty of care obligations.
- Oversee a 24/7 travel assistance contract to provide medical and security support for employees traveling internationally.
- Deliver customized briefings and intelligence reports to employees and executives traveling abroad.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing a GSOC or travel security program.
- Proven experience in overseeing global security operations and incident response coordination.
- Familiarity with travel risk management policies and practices.
- Strong ability to monitor threats and deploy appropriate resources effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for training and briefing personnel.
- Analytical skills for generating comprehensive reports on security incidents.
- Experience in establishing GSOC and physical security programs from inception.
- Commitment to the mission of ensuring safety in financial operations.
- Preferred candidates may possess:
- Background in intelligence or military security operations.
- Relevant certifications in security operations or risk management.
- Experience with security technologies and systems integration.
- Management experience in global security programs for large organizations.
Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this role is $220,000 to $275,000.
