Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise continuous global surveillance for security threats and incidents affecting the organization’s facilities and personnel.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and technical specifications for security systems including intrusion detection, access control, and video monitoring.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of operators responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and coordinating incident response in accordance with security protocols.
  • Design and manage quality assurance processes to enhance GSOC operational capabilities.
  • Generate and automate comprehensive reports on security incidents, trends, and their impact on business operations.
  • Coordinate the deployment of incident response resources, including internal security teams and external emergency services.
  • Establish protocols for employees traveling under varying security conditions, focusing on localization, personnel tracking, and emergency preparedness.
  • Create and deliver mandatory pre-travel security training tailored to specific destination risks.
  • Monitor global events and advisories during employee travel to identify and address emerging security needs.
  • Oversee a 24/7 travel assistance service contract to provide medical and security support for traveling employees.
  • Deliver customized briefings and intelligence reports to employees and executives traveling internationally.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing a GSOC or travel security program.
  • Proven experience in overseeing global security operations and incident response.
  • In-depth knowledge of travel risk management for employees abroad.
  • Strong ability to monitor threats and allocate resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for training and briefing stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills for producing reports on security incidents and trends.
  • Experience in establishing GSOC and physical security programs from inception.
  • Commitment to the mission of ensuring safe practices in all operations.
  • Preferred qualifications may include:
  • Background in intelligence or military security operations.
  • Relevant certifications in security operations or risk management.
  • Experience with security technologies and their integration.
  • Management experience in global security programs for large organizations.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $220,000 and $275,000.
