Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise continuous global surveillance for security threats and incidents affecting the organization’s facilities, assets, and personnel.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and technical requirements for security measures including intrusion detection, access controls, and surveillance systems to enhance GSOC operations.
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of operators responsible for monitoring, evaluating, classifying, and coordinating incident response in accordance with established security protocols.
  • Design and manage quality assurance programs aimed at improving GSOC response capabilities.
  • Generate and automate comprehensive analytics and reporting on global security incidents, trends, and their impact on business operations.
  • Coordinate and mobilize incident response resources, including internal security teams and external emergency service providers.
  • Establish protocols for employees operating under varying travel security conditions, including risk assessment, personnel tracking, and emergency preparedness.
  • Create and deliver mandatory pre-travel security briefings tailored to the risk profiles of specific destinations.
  • Monitor global incidents and advisories during employee travel to identify emerging needs for response and support in line with duty of care obligations.
  • Oversee a 24/7 travel assistance contract to provide medical and security support for employees traveling internationally.
  • Deliver customized briefings, destination intelligence reports, and tracking capabilities for employees and executives on international assignments.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing a GSOC or travel security program.
  • Proven experience in overseeing 24/7 global security operations and incident response.
  • Familiarity with travel risk management policies and practices for employees working abroad.
  • Ability to monitor threats and deploy appropriate resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for training teams and briefing senior management.
  • Strong analytical skills for producing reports on security incidents and trends.
  • Experience in establishing a GSOC and other physical security frameworks from inception.
  • A commitment to the mission of ensuring safe operational practices.
  • Preferred qualifications may include:
  • Background in intelligence or military security operations and emergency response.
  • Relevant industry certifications in security operations or risk management.
  • Experience with security technologies and their integration.
  • Management of global security initiatives for large multinational organizations.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $220,000 and $275,000.
