Position Overview

As a Culinary Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the success of our food service operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing culinary functions and assisting in the overall management of the food program. This role involves participating in all aspects of planning, ordering, inventory management, and food preparation while adhering to client standards, health regulations, and company expectations regarding food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and participate in the preparation and cooking of diverse food items.
  • Assist in menu planning and development.
  • Implement new culinary initiatives in collaboration with the marketing and culinary teams.
  • Manage cost controls and monitor expenditures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant culinary experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience in various food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, or healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of food trends with an emphasis on quality, production, sanitation, safety, and presentation.
  • Ability to create and distribute production sheets effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership, training, and coaching skills.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel.
  • An Associate's degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.
