Job Summary

Trivest Portfolio Partners is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the administrative and operational functions of our orthopedic practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration, preferably in orthopedics and ambulatory surgery settings, and demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Direct oversight of day-to-day practice operations to ensure quality care and patient, provider, and staff satisfaction.
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center Management: Provide management and oversight of the Ambulatory Surgery Center.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide direct supervision to the front desk manager, RCM Director, and other operational/administrative staff, medical assistants, as assigned.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, system protocols, and office procedures and communicate policy changes to appropriate staff.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate or assist in the mediation of conflicts, differences, and misunderstandings between and amongst patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Performance Management: Identify and address performance and behavioral problems of staff, counsel, and discipline according to policy.
  • Financial Management: Review and monitor daily KPIs and monthly financial reports.
  • Practice Optimization: Work closely with physicians and MSO to optimize practice operations through skilled operational process and sound financial management.
  • Budgeting and Financial Planning: Provide input for the development of budgetary and financial goals.
  • Training and Development: Ensure office staff members are trained and versed on all applicable information systems associated with the practice and assist with all transitions to EHRs.
  • Culture and Quality Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement, equity, inclusion, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, or related field is required (Master's degree is preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years in healthcare administration management, with a strong background in orthopedics and/or ambulatory surgery settings.
