Join Our Team

The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a C# Software Engineer to become an integral part of our exceptional engineering team. In this role, you will engage in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) within a collaborative environment, driving forward the next generation of software innovations for the Department of Defense (DoD).

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software applications in alignment with team objectives.
  • Translate requirements into functional software deliverables.
  • Write code following industry best practices and adhere to cybersecurity standards.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with team members daily to foster a productive environment.
  • Develop Python scripts to enhance software functionality and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship to obtain a U.S. DoD security clearance.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as .NET Framework, Entity Framework, Python, and relational databases.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess the impact of code changes on application functionality.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences are advantageous:

  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Nuxt or Vue.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL.
