About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and strategic Electromechanical Engineer to join our team of highly motivated individuals at Huntington Ingalls Industries. As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will apply electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles to components and systems, including assembly, analysis, and documentation of results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering calculations, analysis, research, and design
  • Provide engineering support to designers and tradesmen
  • Analyze mechanical and/or electrical failures and problems and provide engineering solutions to return ships to service
  • Provide technical recommendations and documents to internal and external customers
  • Effectively communicate and engage with team members
About the Team

You will be part of a diverse and innovative team of professionals at Huntington Ingalls Industries, ranging from skilled trades to project managers, engineers, and software developers. Our team is dedicated to the mission and safety of our country, and we work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to challenges and designing, building, and overhauling nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and submarines for the United States Navy.

Requirements
  • 0 Years with Bachelor's in Science - Huntington Ingalls Industries requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
