Shift Details:

The Patient Care Coordinator - Clinical Support role presents an exceptional opportunity to broaden your impact in healthcare by executing clinical responsibilities and coordinating patient services within the MA-C license framework.

In this position, you will engage in close collaboration with your colleagues to achieve optimal healthcare results and enhance patient experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering outstanding patient service and assisting with clinic operations.
  • Collaborating with physicians, clinical personnel, front office staff, and clinic management to ensure holistic healthcare outcomes.
  • Executing a variety of tasks within the clinic environment that necessitate specialized knowledge and the integration of available standards, resources, and data.
  • Advocating for ethical and comprehensive care that respects the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from various ethnic and social backgrounds.

Qualifications include:

  • Medical assistant certification from an accredited training program.
  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) license.
  • Current BLS Certification or the ability to obtain it through an in-house training program, depending on assignment.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a physician's office or another medical facility is preferred.

Exceptions may apply for candidates applying to specific positions or those currently in an externship or residency program with an active or pending WA DOH MA-R certification.
