Job Title: Database Administrator Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator Lead to join our team at Trace Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and administering database applications, as well as providing operational support for computer hardware, system software, and applications software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct requirements analysis, design, development, and administration of database applications.
  • Provide operational support for computer hardware, system software, and applications software.
  • Maintain the integrity of all user/system data files, data verification, and data format conversion procedures.
  • Develop and implement database reporting and printout support.
  • Support the development of operating procedures and user technical manuals.
  • Work with a variety of database systems, including Oracle, Sybase, and Informix.
  • Develop and implement applications in a microcomputer environment.
  • Implement relational databases and manage information using a database management system.
  • Work knowledge of IA/IO concepts and A&A process.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2010 and up, Microsoft Access, XML, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and VBA.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Access 2010 and up and SharePoint 2010 and up.
  • Experience with installing and administering IT hardware and software, including Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Visual Studio.NET 2008, SharePoint, Oracle Enterprise Manager, TOAD, ColdFusion, SQL, VBS, ASP, C#, JavaScript, SIAM/RDS database handlers, Apache Tomcat, MS Access, Oracle, Solaris, Symantec, HBSS, Storage Manager Server (SAN), LTO Tape Library, RedHat, Oracle server hardware, HP SAN, NetApp Storage Hardware, and Windows server hardware (Dell, HP).

Requirements:

  • An active, in-scope US Government issued Secret with Tier 5, or higher.
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Three (3) years of experience providing database and associated database systems administration.
  • IAT-II Certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT related discipline AND at least three (3) years of experience as described above; OR five (5) years of relevant experience as described above.
