Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled UNIX Administrator Lead to join our team at Trace Systems. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for supporting the configuration and operation of our business systems, including mainframe, mini, and client/server environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage operating system environments, including file systems, log files, processes, and security.
  • Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems, including problem determination and resolution.
  • Expert-level experience in Red Hat Linux administration, server virtualization, application/Web server administration, DNS and BIND, and network/storage connectivity configuration and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance with Tier 5, or higher.
  • US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work and US Government requirements.
  • Four (4) years of experience as a computer system administrator, with at least three (3) years of specialized experience in administrating UNIX.
  • IAT-II Certification.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline AND four (4) years of experience as described above; OR seven (7) years of relevant experience as described above.
