We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Scheduler to join our team at Quadrant Inc. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures, ensuring seamless communication with patients, physicians, and insurance providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Phone and Patient Communication: Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule pre-operative and follow-up tests, verify insurance coverage, and coordinate with patients, physicians, and insurance providers to ensure smooth surgical procedures.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, surgical procedures, and insurance details.
  • Insurance and Authorization: Verify insurance coverage, obtain pre-authorizations, and certify surgical procedures with insurance companies.
  • Database Management: Update patient records with operative reports and maintain a database of surgeries and operative reports.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience as a Surgical Scheduler or in a related administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
