- Collaboration and Professional Development
- Work closely with colleagues, including assistant teachers, instructional staff, and administration, to support student learning and development.

- Lead or contribute to school committees, events, and initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in education, Math, Science, Social Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Must meet the Content Knowledge standards required for a provisional teaching license; valid teaching certification in elementary education preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an elementary school setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and elementary education best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
- Be eligible for a provisional state teaching license in the state of Virginia.
- Be local to the area.
- Two years of experience leading instruction.
