Role Responsibilities

We are looking for a compassionate and highly skilled RN to provide exceptional care in our Neuroscience ICU. In this role, you will:

  • Deliver patient-focused nursing care and engage in patient and family education.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Utilize electronic documentation systems to monitor and communicate patient conditions effectively.
  • Coordinate discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Maintain cultural competence and awareness while interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
  • Active Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Multistate Compact License.
  • Preferred: 1 year of critical care experience in an acute care setting.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized provider.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
